2019 AXAS Tetraval

Season
Sterling Backus
Erie, CO.

From scratch build of a Lamborghini Aventador look-a-like. Frame is steel tubing, with a LS1/Porsche 996 transaxle drive train. Body panels are all 3D printed on a home 3D printer, then skinned in carbon fiber. We are doing this as a STEM project to show kids what can be done with modern technology, at home. The project ties together science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). We will be taking the car around to local schools, and do a presentation on the build, and why STEAM is important. So far, we are about 60% done with the project.
