Vice Grip Welder

March 08, 2011
Quick Tips
From Grand Prairie, AB: Over time, the jaws on your vice grips will round off and lose their "bite". When this happens, rather than throw them out, weld an appropriate sized bolt onto them and use them as work clamps for welding. The vice grips can be adjusted to ensure a good electrical connection to the work piece. These will especially come in handy to those of you that pack a welder on your trail rigs, as the vice grips will clamp onto a lot more things than a conventional work lead will.
