Other uses for waterless hand soap

Larry N. suggests:
"When pulling wire or tubing through really tight grommets, reach for your can of waterless hand soap. Spread this liberally along the tubing and apply steady pressure without jerking. By the way, for those of us who live in warmer climates, keeping said soap in the shop beer box will help keep it from separating indefinitely."

Stacey adds:
"Nice! Another neat trick is using hand cleaner to clean plug wires and hoses of under-hood goo. Just wipe it on and they'll clean up slick as a whistle. Another variation to this is to use WD-40 in these applications as it tends to be a little less messy."
