It's fun watching Stacey fixing some old trucks and putting it back together. You need to be a grease-monkey to have this kind of knowledge in automotive to keep Truck Exterior and keep its engine running forever.
Feb 24, 2012 06:53 pmthis has nothing to do with grommets, but it is a proven way to clean carbon in the combustion process.take 8oz's of cold tap water and add 1 table spoon of arm and hammer baking soda.mix well and slowly pour into running, engine at op temp, carb.hand throttle as it trys to kill engine.it will vaporize carbon instantly.valves, stems, chambers, intake will be spotless.cost pennies and keeps carbon at a minimum.about once every 3 months.i learned this from a mech, back in 1962.i have never harmed an engine.baking soda appears to keep the valves fron warping by keeping the steam produced at a lower temp.
