Kevin Powell from Bluffton, IN says:

The best thing to use when degreasing an engine, tranny, or transfer case is Easy Oven cleaner. This stuff is tough and will eat through any grease, including some paint so be careful! It also works great on 4 wheelers. Spray on, let it soak for a few minutes and powerwash off. Good as new!

Stacey's Comments: ?

You?re right. Easy-off is a good way to knock off some nasty gook. Generally this stuff works even better then the degreasers you?ll find at the auto parts stores. As you mentioned though, this stuff can ruin paint as well as some rubber gloves, plastics (not to mention your eyes and lungs) that degreasers won?t harm, so be careful what you spray it on and make sure the area/space is well ventilated.
